About Us

At Gotswach our mission is to help those
who are just trying to survive.

Every human being deserves to have the basic essentials to live. For every purse sold, a mosquito net is sent to countries where people are dying every day from malaria. We also donate to bring clean water to those who are drinking and bathing in disease infested waters.
Each purse is one-of-a-kind, designed and sewn one by one with lots of love. We use repurposed fabric swatches and remnants which would have normally been thrown into a land fill. We have four styles and two more on the way.
We are very excited to grow our company so more and more people can benefit from it.
Thank you so very much for joining us on this mission to help those less fortunate.

Behind the bags

I grew up in New England in Weymouth, MA with my parents and four siblings. Oh! Ya! I can’t forget my cat.
I had a wonderful childhood and was always a little bit of a dreamer. Having a love for art and sewing gave me the opportunity to become very creative which I thrived on. In my late 20’s I got married and had two beautiful children, Sean and Krissy. They still remember going to the craft shows with me which never really seemed to work out.
I had some schooling in interior design and fashion design and loved to refurbish furniture. I guess you could say I’m a jack (or jill) of all trades but master of none. I started a business sewing pet beds that matched your home decor, along with pillows and custom cushions but there wasn’t enough creativity involved in it.
I then worked for a company that later closed their doors which is when I came up with the idea to reimagine their furniture swatches and design the Gotswach purses. Since my early 30’s I’ve had a deep need to help others, becoming a sponsor for children in Honduras and Ecuador and donating to St.Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

My Mom was one-of-a-kind which is why Gotswach, one-of-a-kind purses, is dedicated to her.

To my mom.
Thanks for all the love, inspiration, wisdom, and for always believing in me.
